Product Description
TMPDE, Trimethylolpropane Diallyl Ether is a mixture of three allyl ethers, it is this unique composition that makes TMPDE an excellent air drying agent, which is widely used in unsaturated polyester resin, putty resin, alkyd resin, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, water-soluble resin and so on.
TMPDE is a colorless transparent liquid. It is a wildly used important active monomer. Dially ether is the main component, it is a mixture including mono ether and tri-ally ether. TMPDE has two(CH =CH-CH-O)group and one(-OH)group, owns typical properties of ether group and alcohol group, such as ether group can supply air drying property, alcohol group can attend esterification.
So TMPDE can give gloss directly and restrain oxygen inhibition in resin synthesis, so as to accelerate reaction speed,improve drying effect, increase fullness and gloss, increase surface hardness and corrosion resistance and not yellowing. TMPDE is very stable in room temperature and humidity.
As an important active monomer, it can apply in UPR, PU, UV curing resin, double-solidifying/multiple-solidifying resin, water based resin, poly vinyl resin, epoxy vinyl resin, ion exchange resin, alkyd resin, adhesive, coating, chemical additives, fine chemical intermediates.
The advantage of air drying UPR with allyl group:
1. Very light color for resin, excellent transparency, good spreadability, excellent coating effect in the elevation
2. Excellent air drying property, including in low temperature, quick surface drying and action, short grinding time, improved production efficiency.
3. High film hardness, fullness, excellent scratch resistance, chemical resistance, anti chloridized, anti yellowing.
4. High resin solid content in the same viscosity, styrene can be used as curing adhesive as well as solvent, high utilization.
